The Scarlet Lady, Virgin Voyages’ first ship, faced numerous delays due to the global health situation. Despite the challenges, it set sail in October in the Caribbean, showcasing the innovative concept of ‘rebellious luxury’ inspired by mega-yachts.
The ship’s name, Valiant Lady, draws inspiration from the Latin word “valere,” meaning ‘to be strong.’ This cruise follows the same design principles as the Scarlet Lady and sets the stage for the Resilient Lady, launching later this year, and a fourth ship scheduled for 2023.

Valiant Lady spans an impressive 278 meters in length, accommodating 2,770 passengers across 17 decks. Beyond the standard cruise amenities like pools, jacuzzis, multiple restaurants, and a theater, the ship boasts distinctive features seldom found on other vessels.
From a tattoo parlor and vinyl record store to a two-story disco named The Manor, paying homage to Richard Branson’s first recording studio, the ship goes beyond the ordinary.
